Creative Space

I am so excited about going back to Forest Glen PS this October. After a really lovely time meeting and working through the JumpStart program with the grade sevens, I’ll be meeting up with the group I worked with last year. These kids were so nice and generous to each other, energetic performers and talented! Since they’ve already had a week of work with me (100 mins each class for 5 consecutive days) we can do a quick review of the basics and really start exploring improv skills.

I’m thinking of getting into some monologue-based character stories, narrated mysteries, fractured fairy tales (they were quite good at these last year) and some short-form games. I love being able to act in a ‘coaching’ role for groups who have moved beyond the basics and am SO looking forward to this gig!
